Presentation Guidelines

Guidelines for Oral Presentation

1. Prepare your slides as a PowerPoint file and email them to the WFoFT 2024 Secretariat (sci@wfoft.org) by October 26. We also recommend that you bring your presentation on a USB stick or other portable memory device. If it is difficult to email your presentation materials by October 26, please visit the Secretariat (Oak Room, 3F) and submit your materials on October 27.

2. We recommend that you DO NOT use your own laptop computer for your presentation to avoid problems with computer-projector compatibility. If you need to use your own laptop, please contact the Secretariat by email (sci@wfoft.org).

Your Presentation Slides Should Include:
  • Fonts

The session computer will have the standard font sets. Please refrain from using custom or purchased fonts, as these will not be available and may impact how your presentation looks. If you need to use custom or purchased fonts, please save your file with embedded fonts.

  • Aspect Ratio

The meeting will utilize 16:9 aspect ratio projectors in all rooms.

  • Video

If your presentation includes video, please inform us beforehand and bring the video files separately, even if they are embedded in your slide presentation.

  • Presentation File Types

Session rooms will be equipped with a computer running Windows (not Mac).
